Here at the Competitive Edge, we know that heading out to the lanes means different things to different people but in the end, it boils down to one thing: we head out to the lanes to bowl.

We bowl because it is fun, frustrating, exciting, infuriating, and a plain good time.

Bowling Equipment is not created equal. Of course, this does not mean that one particular ball is most definitely better than another or one type of shoe is better than another. The truth is, just because a certain bowler plays extremely well with certain equipment, it does not mean that you will, too. You need to find the equipment that is perfect for you and your skills. Keep in mind that the best ball for you is not necessarily the most expensive one! Come in and talk to us about the different styles of bowling balls with different coverstocks and cores and drillings, and then choose your favorite. Remember though sometimes it can take a while to get used to a new ball. Give it time but above all else….HAVE FUN!!
